Onno W. Purbo is a prominent figure in the field of information technology in Indonesia. He is renowned for his advocacy of open-source solutions and efforts to provide affordable internet access. Onno holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada. His innovative works include the development of Wajanbolic for cheap wireless internet connections and RT/RW-Net, a community-based network to disseminate affordable internet. In 2020, Onno received the Jonathan B. Postel Service Award from the Internet Society for his significant contributions to the internet community in Indonesia (Wikipedia ID) (ITB Alumni).
Mada R. Perdhana is the founder and CEO of Sysbraykr, a cybersecurity startup based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Sysbraykr provides comprehensive cybersecurity solutions including security checks, bug bounty triage, security awareness, and SSDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle). Mada founded the company to address the increasing cyber threats faced by startups and SMEs in Indonesia. He previously operated a cybersecurity firm in Malaysia before returning to Indonesia due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sysbraykr has clients across various industries such as retail, banking, education, health, and digital startups (DailySocial) (DailySocial).
Setiawan Hermanto is the Head of IT Security at Tokopedia, one of Indonesia’s leading e-commerce platforms. In his role, Setiawan is responsible for overseeing the security infrastructure that protects the data of over 90 million active users. His efforts are focused on implementing robust security measures, developing application security controls, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Setiawan’s work includes devising strategies to prevent data breaches and mitigate cybersecurity threats, making Tokopedia a safer platform for its users. He has a background in database administration and project management from his previous roles at PT. Aero Systems Indonesia and PT. Sasana Artha Finance (ContactOut – Find Anyone’s Email & Phone) (Tech in Asia) (Republika Online).
Ida Bagus Gede Setia Yasa, S.Kom., M.M., serves as the Director of Operations and IT at Bank BPD Bali. He has built a distinguished career in banking since joining Bank BPD Bali in 1990. Ida Bagus completed his postgraduate studies at Universitas Udayana in 2005. His leadership has led Bank BPD Bali to receive multiple awards, including the Digitech Award 2022 for The Best IT Leadership in Local Banking Industries. He has been instrumental in driving the bank’s digital transformation efforts, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency through innovative IT solutions (BPDBali) (Mata Dewata) (Jakarta Post Network) (BPDBali).
Ricky Satria is the Deputy Director at Bank Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Andalas University in Indonesia and an MBA in Global Banking and Finance from Birmingham University in the UK. Ricky has been with Bank Indonesia since 1997, starting his career as a bank examiner during the Asian financial crisis of 1998. He has played a pivotal role in implementing branchless banking and promoting financial inclusion in Indonesia. Ricky has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of the Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS), which standardised QR code payments across the country (Tufts Blogs) (J-PAL) (FEUI).

His role at BSSN involves promoting cybersecurity awareness and implementing national policies to enhance Indonesia’s cyber defence capabilities.
